Sabbath

Bereshith (Genesis) c 2 v 1-3:
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their array. 2. And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. 3. And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which He had made. (ISR).

Shemoth (Exodus) c 19 v 5-6:
'And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – 6. ' and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.' Those are the words which you are to speak to the childen of Yisrayl." (ISR).

Shemoth c 20 v 8-11:
"Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. 9. Six days you labor, and shall do all your work, 10. but the seventh day is a Sabbath of YHWH your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11. For in six days YHWH made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore YHWH blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart." (ISR).

Shemoth c 31 v 13-17:
"And you, speak to the children of Yisrayl saying, "My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations , to know that I, YHWH, am setting you apart. 14. And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people. 15. Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to YHWH. Everyone doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death. 16. And the children of Yisrayl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant. 17. Between Me and the children of Yisrayl it is a sign forever. For in six days YHWH made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed." (ISR).

Wayyiqra (Leviticus) c 23 v1-3:
And YHWH spoke to Mosheh, saying, 2. "Speak to the children of Yisrayl, and say to them, 'The appointed times of YHWH, which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these: 3. Six days work is done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a set-apart gathering. You do no work, it is a Sabbath to YHWH in all your dwellings.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) c 56 v 2, 4-7:
"Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it, guarding the Sabbath lest he profane it, and guarding his hand from doing any evil. 4. For thus said YHWH, "To the eunuchs who guard My Sabbaths, and have chosen what pleases Me, and hold fast to My covenant: 5. to them I shall give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters – I give them an everlasting name that is not cut off. 6. Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to YHWH, to serve Him, and to love the Name of YHWH, to be His servants, all who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and hold fast to My covenant – 7. them shall I bring to My set-apart mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their slaughterings are accepted on My altar, for My house is called a house of prayer for all the peoples." (ISR).

echetzqyah (BOY) (Ezekiel) c 20 v 11-12, 20:
"And I gave them My laws and showed them My right-rulings, which, if a man does, he shall live by them. 12. And I also gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between them and Me, to know that I am YHWH who sets them apart. 20. And set apart My Sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, to know that I am YHWH your Elohim.

Daniyl (BOY) (Daniel) c 9 v 4:
And I prayed to YHWH my Elohim, and made confession, and said "O YHWH, great and awesome Father, guarding the covenant and the kindness to those who love Him, and to those who guard His laws and commands. (ISR).

"If they profane My laws And do not guard My commands, 32. "Then I shall visit their transgression with the rod, And there crookedness with flogging. 34. "I shall not profane My covenant, Neither would I change what has gone out from My lips. (ISR).

Ibrim (Hebrews) c 4 v 4-11:
For somewhere He has said thus about the seventh day, "And Elohim rested on the seventh day from all His works,' 5. and in this again " If they shall enter into My rest…." 6. Since then it remains for some to enter into it, and those who formerly received the Good News did not enter in because of disobedience, 7. He again defines a certain day, "Today," saying through Dawid so much later, as it has been said, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." 8. For if Yehoshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken of another day after that. 9. So there remains a Sabbath-keeping for the people of Elohim. 10. For the one, having entered into His rest, has himself also rested from his works, as Elohim rested from His own. 11. Let us therefore do our utmost to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. (ISR).

Bereshith c 26 v 5:
Because that Abraham obeyed My Voice, and kept My charge, My Commandments (mitzwah), My statutes, and My laws (Torah). (ZKSF).

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) c 66 v 22-23:
"For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make stand before Me," declares YHWH, "so your seed and your name shall stand. 23. "And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me," declares YHWH. (ISR).

Shemoth c 16 v 29:
"See, because YHWH has given you the Sabbath, therefore He is giving you bread for two days on the sixth day . Let each one stay in his place, do not let anyone go out of his place on the seventh day." (ISR).

'Six days work is done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a set-apart gathering. You do no work, it is a Sabbath to YHWH in all your dwellings. (ISR).

Ibrim c 10 v 24-25:

"Thus, when you do a kind deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do, in the congregations and in the streets, to be praised by men. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward. 5. "And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the congregations and on the corners of the streets, to be seen by men. Truly, I say to you , they have their reward. C 9 v 35: And YHSHWH went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their congregations, and proclaiming the Good News of the reign, and healing every disease and every bodily weakness among the people. C 12 v 1-9: At that time YHSHWH went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. And His taught ones were hungry, and began to pluck heads of grain, to eat. 2. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, " Look, your taught ones are doing what is not right to do on the Sabbath!" 3. But He said to them, "Have you not read what Dawid did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: 4. how he went into the House of YHWH and ate the showbread which was not right for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? 5."Or did you not read in the Torah that on the Sabbath the priests in the Set-apart Place profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? 6. "But I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the Set-apart Place. 7. "And if you had known what this means, 'I desire compassion and not offering,' you would not have condemned the blameless.* "For the Son of Adam is Master of the Sabbath." 9. And having left there, He went into their congregation. 12. "How much more is a man worth than a sheep! So it is right to do good on the Sabbath." C 6 v 1-2, 6, 56:
And He went away from there and came to His own country, and His taught ones followed Him. 2. And Sabbath having come, He began to teach in the congregation. And many who heard Him were astonished, saying, "Where did He get all this? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such miracles are done through His Hands? 6. And He marveled because of their unbelief. And He was going around among the villages teaching. 56. And wherever He went, into villages, or cities, or the country, they were laying the sick in the market-places, and begged Him to let them touch if only the tzitzit of His garment. And as many as touched Him were healed. (ISR).

Luke c 4 v 1-2, 16, 31 & 33, 38 & 40, c 13 v 10 & 22, c 14 v 1:
And YHSHWH, being filled with the Set-apart Spirit, returned from the Yarden and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2. being tried for forty days by the devil. And on the next Sabbath almost all the city came together to hear the Word of Elohim.
